It isn't hard to put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4 for most people. Unfortunately, our friends on the left (this includes the administration, media, and bloggers) have to do mental gymnastics to justify the possibility of an Islamist takeover in a pan-Arab sense.
First, we have the president-appointed CIA Director saying that he saw the departure of Mubarak yesterday on CNN?!? If that's how the CIA is currently gathering intelligence (as a primary source), I am deeply concerned. Next we have the Intelligence Director saying that the Muslim Brotherhood is mainly secular?!? A quick search of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan Al Banna, Sayed Qutb, and many others on any site, even Wikipedia, would tell you differently. Why do we pay these people and for what purpose? Even the title "Muslim Brotherhood" should be a clue.
It is worrisome the lackadaisical attitude in all of the mentioned above.
More disturbing to me is how conservative leaders are misquoted and misrepresented in the MSM. Even more disturbing than that to me are people passing themselves off as right-wing pundits that hide under multiple disguises and even impersonate other conservative pundits in an attempt to undermine them.
For these reasons, I see no reason to blog everyday. Couple with that the fact that spoken word really properly conveys a message where typing comes off flat. See ya when something else interesting happens. Perhaps after the global caliphate and the president bows to a Muslim emirate of the US.
Does this mean Mitt has to occupy himself?

But you have to wait for Captain Knee-jerk to bloviate on the next big global moment. I'm on the edge of my seat (probably because I need a potty-break. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Chairman O's ivy league brilliance.)
ReplyDeleteOn your seat based on what? The Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, and Iran win.
ReplyDeleteSarcasm. I has it.
ReplyDeleteAre you through with blogging or just paring it back?
True Believer,
ReplyDeleteI'm doing neither. I'm disgusted with the state of political blogging (excluding who is on my blogroll).
There is no new news to be reported and it's all too predictable for me. I've lived in it, breathed it, and swam in it for too long.
After we figure out how to deal with our borders, Islamist problem, and defunding obamacare, planned parenthood, and stop trying to regulate how people live, then I will discuss the important stuff. Let the cretins on the left snap at the scraps of propaganda. Let those faux multiple personalities on the supposed right state the obvious.
I feel ya. At this point it seems like a whole lot of rhetoric and very little action. That's why my posts have become more personal and less about what's being posted politically. Seriously? I can't rant anymore unless people are actually going to make something real happen. Otherwise I'm just another facehole making noise.
ReplyDeleteExactly
ReplyDeleteaww, don't get so blue. people are starting to wake up. keep posting and maybe one day we'll save some ignorant teen from going liberal.
ReplyDeleteLord knows it really isn't the kids in college, at least not where I am. Half of them get torqued when a lefty professor goes on a rant.
ReplyDeletemaybe if we put pics of Justin Beiber and Beyonce we could get hits off google from teens. "Beyonce says no to taxation without competent representation". Or something like that. . . .
ReplyDeleteHell, after last night's "Glee" you might have a point.
